If you could design gothic clothing dresses line what would be the theme?
Drawing has always been my main way of expression, even before l knew how to right. My feelings are better realized in sketches than in words. What l draw reveals much about my personality and my creations are extensions of myself. My sources and forces of inspiration come from my dreamy world of imagination and from the impact of my everyday realizations about a world from which l often need to escape.
I can express my anger, my indignation, my desires and dreams, my wishes, my enthusiasm, my disappointment, my sorrow, my sentiments, everything l have inside and it is not always obvious. For my gothic clothing designs the music l listen to plays an important role. Those melodies lead my hand to create complex patterns on the gothic clothing which reveal my mood and psychological state at the moment.
l like complexity and l hate simple clothes without patterns. l want to give them a special character making each design unique. Singing while drawing, often makes the inspiration even more intense. My view is that gothic clothing make women seem more attractive, powerful, mysterious, bewitching and desirable. l will keep on designing turning my passionate imagination into reality.
My gothic inspiration: whenever l hold a pencil and there is a paper in front of me l have to draw something. lt is completely spontaneous and automatic and often an unconcious action. Sometimes l can't identify my source of inspiration, my hand leads me, it's like it is drawing itself without my supervision. lt makes a gothic design even before l imagine it and it reveals it to me. That's why l often do not know what to answer to people who asked me how l imagined a gothic design. l just say: my hand drew it, l don't know...
